Volume 1 Issue 4 – “Praise God from whom all blessings flow…”
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
From childhood and through the generations we have sung the doxology following the evening meal, and God has always been faithful.
Great Grandpa Triplett tells of the time the family praised God as they sang the Doxology with an empty flour sack on his head when a knock at the door brought the sorely needed groceries.
My dad, remembering the story of his childhood, needed a financial miracle and sang the doxology with a checkbook on his head only to soon have his financial need met.
My sister, stranded in a car which refused to start, earnestly sang the doxology and with expectancy tried the ignition one more time to find Him once again faithful.
When our family had exhausted our supply of groceries, as a family we sang “praise God from whom all blessings flow…” only to be interrupted by the ring of a telephone and a Supporter telling us God had laid us on his heart and he wanted to meet our need.
As the Civil War raged in El Salvador – we praised Him and He was faithful to provide safety, food, and shelter.
In times of happiness and times of sadness – we praised Him and He was faithful to sustain, and rewarded us with souls for our labor.
Today, with our hands raised above our heads, we praise Him as we trust His provision to provide the additional $1200 in monthly pledges we still need to be cleared to leave for Argentina. Will you join with us in praise?
We sincerely thank each of you and for your faithful prayer and financial support and pray that you and your loved ones experience His richest blessings this time of Thanksgiving.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.
Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever. Give thanks
to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever. Psalm 136:1-3.
Blessings,
Michelle
